JW Ambrose — Author Biography

JW Ambrose writes Southern stories shaped by heart, history, and the quiet mysteries that linger long after the sun goes down. Born and raised in Tennessee, he draws inspiration from the backroads, small towns, and deep‑rooted traditions that define the American South. His work blends emotional depth with atmospheric tension, weaving together romance, secrets, and the shadows that move beneath everyday life.

Ambrose is the author of Seven Days in Savannah and The Secrets of Bryson’s Grove, with additional manuscripts currently in development, including Sunset in Sturgis, Magnolia Hill, and Confederate Hearts. His novels explore the intersections of love, loss, redemption, and the hidden truths families carry across generations.

Before turning his focus fully to writing, Ambrose spent a decade as a Senior Pricing Specialist, a role that sharpened his eye for detail — a skill that now fuels his intricate plotting and character‑driven storytelling. When he isn’t writing, he enjoys time with his wife, who serves as his first reader, and the quiet comfort of a good bourbon over ice.

Ambrose continues to build a multi‑book modern crime and Southern mystery series, bringing readers into a world where history, heartache, and danger collide across the South’s most iconic landscapes.
